President: Jolene "Jody" Carlton, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC/AC, RNC-NIC

Dr. Carlton is a dual board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with a decade of NP practice and extensive nursing experience in pediatric critical care, neonatal and pediatric transport, and primary care. A national leader in pediatric education with experience in simulation-based training, she has created continuing education programs, hosted national podcasts and held executive leadership roles at the state level with NAPNAP.

Dr. Carlton currently serves on NAPNAP’s National Education Strategy Committee and as a section editor for the upcoming AACN Pediatric Procedure Manual. She is the founder and host of the podcast Pediatric Flow with Jolene. She is passionate about advancing innovation, professional development and the integration of AI to improve outcomes for children and families.

President-elect: Olivia Wilson DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC

Dr. Wilson is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner, proud mom of two boys who have grown to be amazing men, a wife to her husband of 20-plus years, and a pet mom to five cats and a pup-a-doo, Frank.

Immediate Past President: June “Joonie” Bryant, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC

Dr. Bryant is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Dr. Joonie’s ExaminaVan, a mobile pediatric primary care practice that began in Florida and recently expanded to Colorado. She serves as an assistant professor at the University of Colorado College of Nursing, where she teaches across undergraduate and graduate programs.

Dr. Bryant is passionate about advancing pediatric care through education, entrepreneurship and advocacy, and frequently presents at national conferences on autonomic dysfunction and mobile health innovation. Her leadership within NAPNAP reflects her commitment to empowering nurse practitioners and improving access to care for children and families.

Secretary: Brandi Torres DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, CNE

Dr. Torres is an assistant professor of nursing at the University of Tampa. She has been a pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care for more than a dozen years, providing compassionate, family-centered care. Her passion lies in supporting children and families through evidence-based practice while also preparing the next generation of nurses through teaching and mentorship.

Communications Chair: Laura Sirak, APRN, FNP-C, CLC

Laura Sirak is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who has been working in the pediatric primary care setting for more than a dozen years. She currently practices for a large pediatric primary care group serving the greater Tampa Bay area. She is also a certified lactation counselor for more than five years and enjoys providing lactation support to mother-baby dads. She is passionate about evidence-based medicine with a focus on preventive care, including immunizations.
