Community Chair: Hollie Campbell

Hollie began her nursing career at the University of Rochester Medical Center's Strong Emergency Department, where she worked for several years before becoming a nurse manager in the Clifton Springs Emergency Department. Hollie started her NP career in pediatric neurosurgery before joining the pediatric hospital medicine complex care service, where she has served as the inpatient pediatric APP lead since 2020. In 2022, Hollie graduated with her post-master's certificate in pediatric acute care and has begun taking classes at the University of Rochester for her DNP. She recognized high turnover within her team and wanted to explore the reasons behind it, as well as what she could do as a leader to better recognize her team members’ contributions to the care of hospitalized children within a large academic medical center. Hollie has focused on how to best support and engage the APP staff to reduce turnover. When not at work, Hollie enjoys spending time on the lake with her husband and four children. She also serves as a local community basketball coach and volunteers for several local health-based community organizations.
