It is an honor and privilege to serve as the new President of the Greater New York Chapter of the NAPNAP. As we step into this new chapter together, my vision is to continue building a vibrant, inclusive, and empowering community where members feel supported in their pursuit of excellence. I hope to deepen opportunities for professional growth through education, collaboration, and supporting legislative efforts that ensure all pediatric patients and families have access to high-quality, equitable healthcare. I strive to cultivate a welcoming and connected environment—one that uplifts both seasoned practitioners and students preparing to enter our profession. Together, we will continue to advance the vision of NAPNAP by optimizing pediatric health and wellness, championing our professional voice, and mentoring the next generation of advanced practice nurse leaders. Our chapter conducts in-person and online networking and continuing education events to support your clinical practice needs and professional career goals. We also provide access to NAPNAP’s national resources such as Career Center, Journal of Pediatric Health Care, clinical practice resources, patient education information and more.
With your support, our chapter plays a critical role in state-level legislative and regulatory matters on important child health and advanced practice nursing issues. We collaborate with other state or local groups on advocacy efforts to raise awareness and strengthen the collective voice of pediatric experts and advanced practice nurses.
