President: Michelle Goreth, DNP, APRN, CPNP-AC, RN-BC, CTRN, CPEN, CCRN-P, TCRN

Dr. Goreth is a pediatric acute care nurse practitioner with more than 25 years of experience. She is a national lecturer and has multiple peer-reviewed publications, with a special emphasis on pediatrics, surgery, trauma, and quality improvement. Under her leadership, the department developed an advanced practice service team and expanded surgical services, including three nurse practitioner-led surgical and trauma clinics. She also led the development of the first dedicated pediatric concussion clinic in Mississippi. In addition to her clinical practice, she has held multiple academic roles, including program director for the pediatric nurse practitioner and neonatal nurse practitioner programs at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. 

Immediate Past President and Membership Chair: Erin Hernandez

With more than 25 years of pediatric experience, Erin currently holds the position of director of advanced practice at Nicklaus Children’s Health System in Miami. In this role, she oversees advanced practice recruitment and retention, scope of practice, collaborative practice models, credentialing, regulatory issues, compliance, billing, and professional development.

Secretary: Ashlee Mattutini, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Ashlee is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a focus on primary care pediatrics. She is also an assistant professor of nursing at Southern Connecticut State University, where she teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Some of Ashlee’s interests include antibiotic stewardship, optimizing telemedicine services for the pediatric population, and the science of online and traditional learning.

Treasurer: Ruth Rosenblum,DNP, RN, PNP-BC

Ruth has been an advanced practice registered nurse for more than 30 years. She is a professor at the Valley Foundation School of Nursing at San Jose State University and also works as a pediatric nurse practitioner in child neurology at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, where she manages children with seizures, headaches, tics, concussions, and other neurologic disorders. She was a medical provider for the High-Risk Infant Follow-Up Program from 2015 to 2020. She has an interest in pediatric headache management through the use of mobile healthcare technology.

Legislative Chair: Jeri Rosenbloom

After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 2022, she relocated to Alaska to begin her career as a nurse practitioner. She works in a small community hospital, primarily with well newborns and on the pediatric unit. After two years, she still feels that she has the best job in the world. She is deeply passionate about advancing equitable healthcare, particularly in remote areas like hers, which inspired her to serve as the legislative chair. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, fishing, caring for her 10 chickens, and taking in all the beauty Alaska has to offer.

Scholarship & Grant Chair: Stephanie Hopkins, APRN-CPNP

Stephanie is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner who serves patients and their families in primary care in Oklahoma. Her professional interests include adolescent health care and addressing the needs of underserved populations. She enjoys serving as a preceptor and looks forward to working with new pediatric-focused nurse practitioner students each semester. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with their adult children and six grandchildren.

Communications Chair: Britney Holden

Britney has been working as a nurse with children and families for 19 years. She completed her nurse practitioner training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2020 and worked at an independent primary care practice for four years. During that time, she gained additional training and expertise in the COPE program for patients with anxiety and depression, became the only provider in her practice to evaluate and diagnose autism, and received International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification. In 2025, she started a new role in developmental behavioral pediatrics and also conducts in-home lactation visits. Britney is passionate about working through challenges and surrounding the families she serves with tangible support. In her spare time, she teaches dance fitness classes, enjoys traveling with her husband and five children, and cheers them on in their many hobbies and interests.
