Mission

Mission: NAPNAP’s mission is to empower pediatric-focused advanced practice registered nurses and key partners to optimize child and family health.

Membership: GA NAPNAP members include pediatric-focused APRNs, distinguished nursing faculty and scholars, APRN students, APRN entrepreneurs, and APRN leaders in healthcare administration. Our members hail from across the state and lead in diverse settings, including the clinic, hospital, schools, community, and academia - just to name a few. New members are always welcome and can join our chapter by visiting NAPNAP.org.

Why Georgia Chapter: Our chapter was founded in March 1990 and is currently the only NAPNAP chapter in Georgia. We have a history of strong pediatric APRN leadership and several prestigious nursing schools educating the future of our profession. At over 250 active members strong, this network provides a supportive community for networking, collaboration, and continued professional development as we embark on and advance in our careers.

Georgia is a diverse and beautiful state. It is also one that struggles with poor health outcomes, a growing uninsured population, and barriers to APRN practice despite provider shortages. By joining GA NAPNAP, members can engage in meaningful policy and advocacy initiatives aimed at addressing health disparities, improving access to care, and making Georgia a state where all children and families can be healthy and thrive.

Please initiate or renew your membership, follow us on social media, register for an upcoming virtual event, and stay engaged in local policy and advocacy initiatives.

Thank you for choosing GA NAPNAP. We look forward to meeting you soon!
