Emily Gutierrez, DNP, CPNP

Dr. Gutierrez received her doctor of nursing practice from the Johns Hopkins University with a focus in translating integrative health into mainstream clinical care. Dr. Gutierrez is also a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine where she is actively pursuing her certification. Dr. Gutierrez received her masters degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Austin is board-certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Dr. Gutierrez is a published writer, researcher, and speaker. In her medical practice, Dr. Gutierrez incorporates functional nutrition, genetics, immune, and environmental health into providing individualized medical care for her patients.  

Rachel Mundy Ghosh, MSN, PPCNP-BC

Rachel received her MSN from the University of Missouri Saint Louis with her board certification in pediatric nurse practitioner through the ANCC. She works in both primary pediatrics and ran a concussion clinic in Austin, Texas. She really enjoys working with adolescents and actively uses integrative therapies such as natural health products, cognitive behavior therapy, and nutrition with her patients. Rachel encourages other modalities as well such as massage therapy, breathing techniques, and pharmacogenetics evaluation. She brought a clinical study to the practice using a Transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasound machine to measure cerebral blood flow velocity via the chaos theory. This is now being utilized in the practice as a tool for evaluation and management of mild traumatic brain injuries. Rachel enjoys treating patients with many modalities and is very excited to be a part of this SIG, which she knows will add great intellectual and patient-care benefit. She has recently relocated to Seattle and will be working at Seattle Children's Hospital in the Pediatric GI clinic. She is very excited for this opportunity and is looking forward to learning more about this specialty.

 Emily Faulkner Woodard, MSN, CPNP-PC

Emily received her MSN from the University of Texas at Austin and is board certified in pediatrics through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.  She works in both primary care pediatrics and in a specialty practice serving children and adolescents as they recover from concussive brain injuries.  Emily enjoys supporting children and their families through sickness and in health.  To individualize care in her medical practice, Emily incorporates integrative therapies such as natural health products and nutrition, and testing such as Pharmacogenetic evaluation.  The area of integrative health is evolving quickly and new research is being conducted constantly; Emily is excited to be a part of this SIG where she can stay up-to-date with the newest evidence-based information.
