President: Ann Menier, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC

Ann is a pediatric hospitalist at Children’s Minnesota, where she has worked for more than 20 years in pediatric care. For the past nine years, she has served as a nurse practitioner with the Pediatric Hospital Medicine team, providing care and support to young patients and their families. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from St. Catherine University in 2015.

Secretary: Tracy A. Moe, APRN, CNP

Tracy has worked in pediatrics at M Health Fairview for 20 years. Her experience includes inpatient care and serving as a kidney and liver transplant coordinator. In her current role, she is a nurse practitioner with pediatric urology. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Maryland in 1996, a Bachelor of Science in nursing from St. Catherine University in December 2005, and a pediatric nurse practitioner graduate degree in December 2017.

Treasurer: Amara Rosenthal, DNP, APRN, CPNP - PC

Amara graduated from the University of Minnesota and has worked in Pediatrics as a Nurse Practitioner since 2013. For the last 9 years, she has worked at Children’s Minnesota in the Hospital Medicine Department. She lives in St. Paul with her husband and two school aged children.

Communications Chair: Annie Wieck DNP, APRN, CPNP-AC/PC

Annie works as a nurse practitioner in the Pediatric Urology department at the University of Minnesota MHealth.

Membership Chair: Sarah Branigan, MSN, APRN, CPNP-AC

Sarah is an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner who graduated from Duke University in 2019. After graduation, she worked as a nurse practitioner at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. In 2021, she relocated to the Midwest and joined the Pediatric Hospital Medicine department at Children’s Minnesota. Sarah joined the board in 2022 as membership chair to connect with other pediatric nurse practitioners, advocate for children, and strengthen educational and networking opportunities for Minnesota PNPs.

CE Chair: Lauren Petersen, DNP, MPH, APRN, CPNP-PC

Dr. Petersen is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota, School of Nursing. She teaches primarily in the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, specifically in pediatric primary care program. She is also a practicing Pediatric NP in primary care. 

Legislative Chair: Ali Belzer, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC

Ali graduated in 2021 from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Following graduation, she moved back home to Minneapolis where she began her career at Children’s Minnesota in the Hospital Medicine Department. She recently transitioned to Park Nicollet Pediatrics as their acute care nurse practitioner. 

Social Media Chair: Beth Harrington DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC

Beth is a pediatric nurse practitioner with the department of hospital medicine at Children’s Minnesota. She graduated with her DNP in 2021 from Rush University. Prior to graduating with her DNP she worked as a pediatric inpatient nurse at Mayo Clinic. 

PNP Student Board Member: Chonhanh Vuvan BSN, RN

Is currently in her final semester of the DNP program at the University of Minnesota and will be graduating May 2025. She works as an RN. PICU at Children's Minnesota.
