Chapter Awards

Now accepting nominations:  2024 Marcia Lorimer Legacy Award!

In honor of Marcia S. Lorimer, MSN, CPNP, Assistant Clinical Professor Emerita, Duke University School of Nursing.

This legacy award is established with recognition, and in honor, of the over 40 years of clinical, scientific, and leadership Marcia S. Lorimer has demonstrated as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Throughout her career as an educator and its demanding work schedule, Marcia continued to serve as a CPNP, passionate about childhood developmental issues and promoting family teaching, but also as a leader, author, researcher and advocate. This award recognizes a pediatric nurse practitioner who serves with these same ideals of excellence in pediatric care through their work in education, leadership, advocacy, research, or clinical practice.

Yearly nominations for deserving candidates will be accepted by students or faculty in September. Nominations are due October 7, 2024.

Please complete the following nominations application and return to napnapnc@gmail.com.
