The North Carolina NAPNAP Board is beginning a new program
titled Community Outreach. This program will be developed to improve
health care for children and their families through education. While
improving health care
for North Carolina’s children and families, the role of the pediatric
nurse practitioner will become more visible with greater overall
awareness of the important leadership role we play in caring for the
children of North Carolina.
Safety and injury prevention are the topics the Board
has chosen for this year’s Community Outreach. Please look for an email
asking for your vote as to what topic of safety and injury prevention
you think is most pertinent for the North
Carolina NAPNAP to become involved. Also, we are looking for
volunteers to assist with this new program.
