Christy has been caring for pediatric patients and their families for more than two decades, serving in various roles that impact children’s health in clinical settings, as an educator, and as a leader. She graduated from Carolinas College of Health Sciences with an associate degree in nursing and the University of Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in nursing, Queens University of Charlotte with a Master of Science degree, and Duke University with a post-graduate degree as a pediatric acute care nurse practitioner, obtaining her PNP certification. She completed her DNP at Wake Forest University. She has had the privilege of serving children and families for more than 20 years and is excited to serve on the board for the North Carolina-Charlotte Chapter of NAPNAP in a different capacity. She currently work as a pediatric APP hospitalist.
