NY Western Chapter is the winner of the Small Chapter Award from NAPNAP for their accomplishments in 2020-22!!
We also offer awards for nurse practitioner of the year and student NP of the year every May.
Criteria for Nurse Practitioner of the year must be a member in good standing of our chapter. The individual’s contribution must be significant in furthering the development of the NP role and promoting the health care of children.
Criteria for Student nurse practitioner of the year must be:
- Enrolled in an accredited PNP or FNP program
- Demonstrates strengths in clinic practice with a high level of competence
- Demonstrates leadership skills in health care delivery with evidence of initiative in clinical practice
- Graduating in May of the award year and willingness to serve on the chapter board for one year
