President: Danielle Ogg, DNP, CPNP-AC


 

Danielle is a nurse practitioner in the pediatric ICU at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. She has worked in her current role since 2020. She earned a bachelor’s degree in child development and cognitive studies from Vanderbilt University, then changed course and completed an accelerated bachelor of science in nursing program at Duke University as a second-degree student. She later earned a master of science in nursing from Vanderbilt in 2019 and returned in 2022 for a doctor of nursing practice and a post-master’s certificate in nursing education. Danielle began her career in a nurse residency program at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Texas, where she discovered her love of pediatric intensive care. She then moved to Nashville and worked as a nurse in the pediatric ICU until 2019, when she transitioned to an outpatient pediatric clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic and while completing her master’s program. She returned to the PICU as a nurse practitioner after graduation. She is married to her college sweetheart, Jason, a double Vanderbilt graduate and environmental engineer in Nashville. They have a toddler, Olive, and a Samoyed named Cloud.

President-elect: Stacey Williams, DNP, APRN, CPNP-AC, FCCM

Stacey is a nurse practitioner in the pediatric cardiac ICU at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. She has worked in the pediatric critical care unit since 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2004. After several years as a bedside nurse at UAB and working as a travel nurse, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2010. She later earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and a post-master’s certificate in nursing education from Vanderbilt University in 2023. Stacey was recently inducted as a Fellow of Critical Care Medicine with the Society of Critical Care Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, playing tennis, spending time outdoors and being with her dog, Hallie.

Immediate Past President: Courtney Hall DNP, ACP-PNP

Courtney is a full-time faculty member at Vanderbilt School of Nursing, where she teaches future nurse practitioners. She is also a nurse practitioner in the pediatric intensive care unit at Monroe Carell Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Courtney is an adrenaline junkie who enjoys mountain climbing, traveling, and dancing. She is married to the love of her life and has lived in Nashville, Tennessee, for seven years.

Secretary: Kelly A. Davis, PhD CNP-PC/ACW

Kelly is a nurse practitioner in pediatric critical care at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt and a member of the faculty at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Kelly received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University in 2007 and worked as a bedside nurse for six years, both in pediatric hematology/oncology and in the ICU. She later completed a post-master's certificate at Rush University in 2014 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2010 and her Ph.D. in 2021 from Vanderbilt. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, buying more books than she has time to read, and gardening.

Treasurer: Kerry LeBlanc, MSN, CNP-PC

Kerry is a nurse practitioner in pediatric infectious disease at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. She has been in her current role for three years and previously practiced in pediatric primary care in Minnesota before moving to Nashville. She is originally from Wisconsin and completed her degrees at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When she is not working, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband and two dogs.

Legislative Chair: Catherine Hayes, MSN, APN, CNP-AC

Catherine is a nurse practitioner with the pediatric heart transplant team and a pediatric VAD coordinator at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. She is thrilled to be working in her dream role with this special patient population. Previously, she started her nurse practitioner career in pediatric neurosurgery before transitioning to the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit, also at Vanderbilt. She is originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, and received her bachelor's degree in nutrition from the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!), her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbia University, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. They love going to concerts and sporting events, traveling, cooking, and exploring the outdoors together.

Communications and Social Media Chair: Micaela Arseneau DNP, APRN, CNP-AC

Micaela is a nurse practitioner with the pediatric heart transplant team and a pediatric VAD coordinator at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. She has been in her current role for 10 months and, prior to that, worked for six years in the pediatric cardiac ICU. She is originally from a small town in central Illinois and received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Illinois and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University in Chicago. In her free time, she loves to travel, cook, and play tennis.
