Our Mission

Established October 12, 1979, Greater New York NAPNAP is a professional organization whose goal is to improve child health, promote education, and advance the role of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. At the time of chartering, Josephine Bolus was the President of the chapter, and Margaret Hicks was the President of national NAPNAP.

As Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, we provide comprehensive healthcare to the children of the New York metro area. As a chapter, we have had many beneficial educational meetings, along with other successful endeavors that have included donations to charity. In 2004, we celebrated our 25th anniversary as a chapter with a special dinner. Our guest speaker was Sally Walsh, a former national NAPNAP President.

Please consider helping out in our chapter. The only way we will continue for the next 25 years is with the help of our members. We are always looking for new volunteers to help out in any capacity. Please contact any of our board members if you wish to volunteer.
