President: June Bryant, DNP, CPNP-PC

June is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner, educator, and healthcare entrepreneur. She is the founder of 'Dr. Joonie’s Pediatric Healthcare', a mobile pediatric practice serving underserved communities through in-home care. With over a decade of pediatric clinical experience and a strong background in academia, she is passionate about increasing access to high-quality, developmentally appropriate healthcare and preparing the next generation of nurse practitioners. June is an advocate for autonomic dysfunction education and pediatric health policy reform. She also serves as Assistant Teaching Professor at the CU Anschutz College of Nursing. 

President-elect: Brandi Farrell, DNP, CPNP-AC/PC

Brandi is a double board-certified primary and acute care pediatric nurse practitioner in the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Children’s Colorado and an Assistant Professor in the CU Anschutz College of Nursing. She has previous academic appointments at Catholic University, University of Pennsylvania, UT Arlington, and UT Health San Antonio. During her two decades as a pediatric nurse practitioner, Dr. Farrell has practiced at several of the nation’s premier pediatric hospitals including: Doernbecher Children’s Hospital; Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia; Children’s National Medical Center; Temple Children’s Medical Center; Cook Children’s Medical Center; Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas; and UT Health San Antonio. Brandi’s specialty focus is pediatric trauma, emergency care, and critical care with a specialization in quality improvement, pediatric trauma, and child maltreatment. Her current research interests include practice improvement; child trafficking; pediatric trauma/burns; and NP scope of practice.

Immediate Past-President/Education Co-Chair: Jill Marks, DNP, CPNP-AC

Jill Marks

Jill has shaped pediatric nursing across multiple specialties. Beginning in neonatal intensive care, she expanded her expertise to pediatric emergency, pulmonary, and neurological care. A pivotal force in acute care pediatric nurse practitioner (ACPNP) education, she helped launch the University of Colorado's ACPNP program in 2014. Now serving as the program's specialty director, Jill combines her extensive clinical background with her role as an assistant professor to prepare the next generation of pediatric acute care specialists. In addition, Jill also works inpatient at CHCO in the Neurology department. Jill was awarded the Distinguished Alumini Award for the CU College of Nursing in 2025.

Secretary: Mary Conyers, MSN, CPNP-PC

Mary graduated with her masters degree from CU in 2019.  She works at CHCO in the Pulmonary Clinic. She enjoys living in Colorado and spending as much time as possible with family and being in the mountains.

Treasurer: Alison Conley, MSN, CPNP-PC

Alison received her graduate training at the University of Central Florida (Go Knights! Charge On!). Currently, she works at CHCO, caring for children with epilepsy. She has been a member of NAPNAP since 2005. Alison is the mom of three boys.

Communications & Social Media Chair: Sharon Finn, DNP, CPNP-PC, CHSE, CPN


Sharon is an assistant professor for pediatric clinical education faculty with a primary focus on pediatric simulation pediatric inpatient clinicals, She has a passion for preventative care and health maintenance starting from birth through young adulthood. Her vast experiences in the inpatient and outpatient settings have paved the way for her speciality. Childhood obesity and diabetes are both strong areas of interest. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, her golden retriever, and all the beautiful mountain adventures Colorado has to offer. She is a firm believer in taking advantage of all the therapeutic outdoor activities, and how it helps shape a person for overall wellbeing. 

Education Co-Chair: Melissa Lindsey, MSN, CPNP-PC

 

Melissa works in Primary Care in the Special Care Clinic at Children's Hospital Colorado. 

Advocacy Chair: Jennifer Rosen, DNP, CPNP-PC, MPH


Jennifer works at the Young Mothers and Families Clinic and Child Health Clinic at CHCO. She is a Senior Instructor at the CU College of Nursing and the Speciality Director for the Pediatric Primary Care Program. Her clinical interests include health promotion and adolescent care. In her free time she likes skiing with her family.

Membership Chair: Julie Zavala, DNP, CPNP-PC

Julie (she/her/hers) works for Every Child Pediatrics in the Denver metro area, and she serves as the Clinical Director for the School-Based Health Clinics, Julie actively works to ensure students are up-to-date on their physicals and vaccinations, and have access to community resources so they are ready to thrive in the classroom. Julie has been an active member of our Chapter for over 20 years!  In her free time she loves to garden, hike, take photos and travel.
