Dr. Jordan has spent his career as a nurse and nurse practitioner caring for children and their families in intensive care as well as educating the future clinicians and leaders who will care for our country's children. His clinical and research areas of interest are in pediatric critical care, specifically traumatic brain injuries. His predominate teaching responsibility is within the pediatric nurse practitioner track of the graduate clinical program. He also maintains a practice in the Pediatric ICU at Children’s of Alabama. Dr. Jordan received his P.h.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a focus on pediatric traumatic brain injury.
