Bio

I am a Certified Pediatric Nurse (BSN, RN, CPN) and student member of NAPNAP, currently pursuing my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care (PNP-PC) at Texas Woman's University in Fort Worth, Texas, with an anticipated graduation of May 2027.

I bring 18+ years of progressive pediatric nursing experience at Cook Children's Medical Center — one of the nation's leading children's health systems — where I have practiced across the Emergency Department, PreOp/PACU, and Special Procedures settings. I have served in charge nursing leadership and as a clinical preceptor for nurse residents and new orientees, roles that deepened my commitment to mentorship, clinical excellence, and the advancement of the pediatric nursing profession.

My passion for pediatric primary care grew directly from my years at the bedside — witnessing firsthand the profound impact that early intervention, developmental surveillance, anticipatory guidance, and strong family partnerships have on a child's long-term health outcomes. Becoming a PNP-PC is the natural next step in a career devoted entirely to the health and well-being of children and their families.

I am currently seeking a preceptor for my Primary Care I – Well Child clinical practicum beginning in Summer 2026, which requires 180 hours of supervised primary care experience in a pediatric ambulatory setting. I am available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and am located in the Fort Worth/Haslet area of North Texas.

I am eager to connect with fellow NAPNAP members, learn from experienced pediatric nurse practitioners, and contribute to the vibrant community of professionals dedicated to advancing pediatric primary care. If you are open to precepting or simply want to connect, I would love to hear from you.
