Get Involved

Our chapter continues to contribute to two non-profit child- and family-serving organizations:

1. The Harbor UCLA Food Pharmacy: This program addresses food insecurities for underserved families by donating bags of fresh produce to families in need. Approximately 15-25 bags are donated weekly to families of the pediatric and hub clinics. Our chapter helps purchase paper bags for the produce.

2. Project Linus: We donated $250 to Project Linus. This nonprofit organization provides new handmade blankets to children in need. Their blankets are lovingly made by adults and children from all walks of life and many different sources. Their mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.” The blankets are given to children of the Kids Involved in the Dependency System (K.I.D.S.) Hub Clinic at Harbor-UCLA.

If you belong to a nonprofit organization in need, please let us know. Our board would like to help!
