Currently, I am finishing up my third year in the Ohio State University's Graduate-Entry Nursing Program. While I loved living in Ohio, I knew that finishing my last few quarters in North Carolina would be beneficial to my future practice as an NP. My family is in North Carolina, and I had planned on moving to NC after graduation. I felt practicing in North Carolina before graduation would be the best way to learn how to be an NP in North Carolina. My program is a primary care program, but I have a strong interest in Hem/Onc and acute care. In the future, I plan on pursuing a post-master's certificate in acute care.
