Conference Awards!
We are now offering FIVE virtual attendance awards for the 42nd National Conference on Pediatric Health Care, March 24-27th (accessible through July 31st)
Applications Due: February 1st
Evaluation procedures and policy:
Applicants must be members in good standing and submit a 500 word or fewer essay via email to delvalnapnap@gmail.com.
Topic of essay: Why do you believe you deserve the award and how will you contribute to the chapter after the conference?
Due Date:
EXTENDED to FEBRUARY 1st, 2021
The award recipient will be notified by February 15, 2021.
Evaluation criteria and procedures:
Essays will be evaluated blindly based on clarity of question response, potential for contribution to the chapter, and professionalism, by at least 2 members of the Grants committee or Executive committee whose scores will be averaged. In the event of a tie score, another member of the executive committee will be asked to score the submissions, and the essays will be ranked again as needed.
Responsibilities of Award Recipients:
Each grantee will receive the grant money at the end of March upon receipt of proof of registration and a short update to the chapter on steps they have taken or plan to take to give back to the chapter as stated in their application essay.
