Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner - Mobile Pediatric Clinic
The Partners for Healthy Students (PHS) program Nurse Practitioner provides school-based primary health care and mobile clinic program oversight, in accordance with program and hospital policies and procedures as well as state and federal rules and regulations. Provides direct supervision of the PHS Program Coordinator assigned to the mobile unit. Frequent contact with Program Director, School Administration and staff, regulatory bodies and other school-based programs, Community agencies, Hospital staff, and Physicians.
Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing Certified Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Current, Arizona nursing license and Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Certification. Current AHA CPR (BLS) and AHA PALS Certification. Current DEA license. Minimum of three years pediatric clinical experience. Minimum of one year of previous experience in providing services to pediatric patients in a community or school setting strongly preferred. This position is part-time, averaging 1040 hours per year; three (3) 8-hour clinic days per week when school is in session. Must pass pre-employment physical.
