Arizona State Board of Nursing: The State Board of Nursing assures that standards of practice are met and that persons engaged in the practice of nursing are competent.

Arizona State Nurse Practice Act: The Nurse Practice Act is comprised of both statutes and rules (Arizona Administrative Code). 

Arizona Nurses Association:The state's largest and most widely recognized professional nursing organization with members from all practice roles and settings.

Arizona Nurse Practitioner Council: The AZ NP Council is committed to advancing the practice and professional stature of NP's in Arizona through legislation, education, and community outreach/involvement. 

Coalition of Arizona Nurses in Advanced Practice (CAZNAP): This page was created to act as a resource for Arizona Nurse Practitioners on the Internet.

Arizona Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics: This site is committed to the attainment of optimal physical, mental, and social health for all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

County Health Rankings: This site ranks the overall health (health outcomes) of all counties in the United States and may help guide local leaders (i.e., YOU!) to improve the health of our community.

Death Certificate Education: Nurse practitioners must complete the program before they can sign a death certificate. Once the NP has completed the program, they are eligible to sign death certificates. No additional certification is required, and no certificate is issued.
