Center for Autism Conference 2017

2017 Autism Conference: Strengthening Assessment and Supporting Intervention, Saturday September 16th, 2017.  Cathy Lord, Ph.D., a world-renowned autism researcher with expertise in assessment and longitudinal tracking of individuals with ASD, will be the keynote speaker. There will be a full day of sessions with morning coffee and lunch provided.

 

There are two sessions specifically designed for medical practitioners. These include Understanding the Differences between Special Education Eligibility and Medical Diagnosis by Jeanne Anne Carriere, Ph.D. and Autism Spectrum Disorder: An Overview of the Role of Medication by Nisha Warikoo, M.D. CMEs are provided for attending these  two sessions. They are also offering a lunch time panel discussion of parents moderated by Maureen Dillon, LCSW titled Navigating Autism: Parental Insights, Experiences, and Advice.
