I. Launch of our new DBMH logo
New DBMH logo will be posted on our site. You are free to use it for any official DMBH business. The first logo below is the plain DBMH SIG logo, and the second one is the combined DBMH SIG and NAPNAP parent organization logo:

II. Presentation of the newly-worded SIG awards (reviewing new wording and requirements and answering questions about the awards)
The wording of the 2 SIG awards (SIG Advocacy Award and Outstanding Contribution to the SIG Award) has been clarified in hopes of generating more applicants. All criteria and also the rubric for how the applicants will be scored is also posted. These are posted here on our NAPNAP SIG site under "Award Applications." Applications open November 15th, and the deadline is December 15th. A suggestion was made that if only one applicant applies for an award, then that applicant's information is saved for the following year and resubmitted. Kim asked our SIG support staff person and was told that this is not an option; the award nomination/application would need to be re-submitted the following year.
III. Annual conference planning:
     A. Social committee needed to plan our annual SIG social and any other activities we might want to do - if we have enough people, we could organize a SIG cemetery or other
walking tour or something similar if folks are interested (members would pay their own way but we'd get a group together and go together). Stephanie H. offered her assistance for the social committee. It was agreed to keep our SIG social on the same night as our SIG meeting which will be Wednesday, March 6th 2019. The SIG social will occur after our conference annual conference meeting.
     B. SIG distribution of materials/resources to conference attendees? It is possible to distribute DBMH-related materials to all attendees upon registration (e.g., in conference bag?)...these could contain the new logo. Which materials might be of interest to the greater NAPNAP membership?
